Club History
The Bushido Judokwai started life as Pontesbury Judo Club 1n 1972 .
Became affilated to the British Judo Association in 1972, and gained the BJA number 473.
Moved to Bicton Village Hall in 1974 and became one of the largest BJA junior clubs in the country, with over 300 members.
We moved again in 1988 to Ford Village Hall which has become the main dojo in shropshire for both Junior & Senior players, we hold regular grading sessions & competitions for our members, and encourage all players to enter open competitions around the country.
Over the years we have produce a number of players that have gone on to reach high grades and many National places fighting for GB
